Overview
Choosing courses at KTH means a dozen open tabs. Course pages say when a course runs and what it covers, programme pages list what is mandatory, and nothing answers the questions you actually have: what can I take in period 2, which electives fit my programme, how many credits does year one add up to.
KTH used to publish all of this through a public API, KOPPS. It was switched off in June 2025 when the university moved to Ladok, and nothing replaced it. The course pages on kth.se still carry the data, embedded as JSON, so a scraper can rebuild the catalogue from them: 1,260 first- and second-cycle courses taught in English, their offerings for this academic year, KTH's 66 active master's programmes and the study plans of 57 of them.
The explorer below is the app itself, the same interface as in the repository, running on this page with the data from the last scrape. Every view is a link, so a filtered search or a programme's study plan can be sent to someone as it is.
Unofficial, and not affiliated with KTH. The scraper reads undocumented structures of kth.se, so the data is only as current as its last run. Always check the official course page before you register.
